I live in northern New York where winters are long and summers are short...too short!
I have a very supportive husband and loving family.
I have loved sewing since I took my first high school Home Ec class and was introduced to quilting as a child by my grandmother and a favorite aunt. I then took a class as a young mother and I was hooked. I have made many wonderful friends in my quilting journey.
I support the buy handmade movement.
I made these lovely tablerunners in the last two days. That includes the cutting, sewing and quilting. They actually make up pretty quick if you don't have to get the dreaded seam ripper out! Like my mats, they are all reversible (to the fabric you see on the flip side.) Click on the picture for a close up of the detail of my work. Shhh....these are for Christmas gifts, but if you would like a similar one...just use my contact form on the top right of this blog.
Love the colors in this sweet gingerbread fabric~
Poinsettias are always a fav of mine~
I like to watch the birds in winter, so this fabric is one of my favs~
Who doesn't love snowmen~
